Hi Guys
I have made two AT5 Raster Bound files with two different maps,

1- A sediment map i Geo-referenced on Google Earth as the Dam doesn't have a contour map available
2- A Google earth image over lay with dams levels low.

Can one have them run together or is there a way we can have one map with transparency so we can have both at the same time on a Lowrance HDS touch 7 and 9 Gen 2 networked??

There is a way to display two or more raster charts + appurtenant vector overlay from one microSD/SD card.

The rasters can be one upon the other or side by side and You can switch among them. Is this what You want?

The way I do it is to create 3 full raster charts - sediment / satellite / mosaic then use the ones from each set that I need as you zoom in. I'm sure there is a better way to do this.

John, what You mean is a solution with one SD card for each raster.

How did you know that this solution is better?

Then we speak about the same thing, or not.
In my solution i can display and switch each raster in each zoom level.

That is exactly what I am looking for! How do you do that?

- create a first raster set + vector set (if You wish)
- for the next raster set use the IMC atlas description function and use a new chart name (sample: M=Blue Lake)
- create the next raster by use this name in the raster mode
- if You want to display the same vector overlay (or another), also create a second vector set with the same chart name + at5.xml
- rename this second vector set, e. g.
blue_lake_large.at5
blue_lake_at5.xml
- now You can fill the SD-card (a sample with 2 raster + vector sets in the picture). Each raster set lying in one seperate folder.

- In the unit You can switch over the chart name in the chart options. The first raster + vector set is named as "Lowrance". You also can change this with the IMC.

I have never created a vector set?? How would one do that?
So basically to recap I create both my AT5 maps (one sediment map and one Google earth) ie: LakeSed.at5 and Lake GE.at5

- The second one (LakeGe.at5) I create with IMC atlas function. Don't know how pls explain??
-At this point im very confused can you elaborate a little or give me a point by point instructions?/

The multiple data I wish to have is in the ShadedRelief folder, not Large.at5 and .xml

Of course. Because the most user create depth chart i have add the vector file creation (raster background and labelt depth lines as vector overlay). But if You don't need vector files, forget this point.

You only must create both rasters with the IMC. Only the chart name must differ and each raster set must lie in a different folder.

The interesting point is only the following way: IMC >>> advanced options >>> atlas options >>> atlas description. Write "M=" and Your Name, e. g. "M=Blue_Lake". In this case Your chart will be visible as "Blue Lake" in the chart selection menu from the unit. Don't forget to change this string, if You want to create a new chart (or restart the IMC).

More questions?

The 4 pics show a result
Chart "Lowrance" is my standard raster: aerial photo with integrated raster overlay (colored depth areas), created in a GIS application.

Chart "Test" is my second raster (only an other aerial photo with worser quality for this test).

Vector at5 and at5.xml are deleted for You.

Pic 1 and 2 show the switching of the charts and pic 3 and 4 the same in another zoom level. It works, Switch with only with one touch!!!

... and now zooming out:

Thanks, I will try tonight.

I think I know what you are talking about but I'm not as skilled as you at this.
