I have Lowrance units and want to manage waypoints with my Navionics maps as the background, is this possible? If so how do I upload the map.

Lowrance has offered Insight Planner software in the past that allowed the use of their mapping chips as background maps. The user can create waypoints that are then exportable in Lowrance format for use in their chart plotter units.

Thank you Mark, It would be so much more efficient to use the maps Navionics or Cmap to plan stops prior to launch at home. I was hoping I could do it on this platform but I guess not.

The only way to edit WPs with C-Map or Navionics as background is through their respective apps for smartphones and tablets.

SASPlanet can create waypoints & tracks and offers Navionics, Google Earth, Bing and other backgrounds.

I would recommend naming all waypoints then use Reefmaster Waypoint Manager to produce the final Lowrance import file.
