Previous maps I have made have been limited to about 50m maximum depth. I've been using at5 colours with 26 different colours. Using a fixed depth palette this gives me a different colour every 2 metres which makes a useful map.

I've recently started mapping a different area. This is a deeper area (I'm now up to 70m max). So I've thought about using the RGB palettes. Editing the palettes is a bit of a problem. I've tried editing a RGB palette with 26 colours but RM2 won't let me.

Has anyone worked out how to do this?

Do you want to increase colors from 26 to 36 ?

Save/export existing palette to *.rmpxml file.
Open *.rmpxml file in a text editor.
Clone this tag:

<Color>
<A>255</A>
<R>0</R>
<G>101</G>
<B>255</B>
</Color>

several (10) times.

Save *.rmpxml file.
Import the palette back from the *.rmpxml file into RM "Palette Editor".
Tune colors. :)

@Vadim

Thanks

The RGB palette has slightly different parameters but I'll see how I go.
