Hi, can someone point me in the right direction (or a post that discusses this question). I have just got a Lowrance HDS Gen3 Sounder and want to create satellite image maps that can be used on the sounder. In particular, I want to add satellite images from google earth (from a few years ago- not the current images). I have downloaded SAS Planet and IMC which I am led to believe is all I need to use to do this. The first problem I experience is that I cant workout how to access the older satellite images on SAS Planet.
Any help to get me on the right track would be appreciated (either using this method or any other way).

You need a program called StitchMaps 2.52 it's old but it work with Google Maps Program not "google maps on Firefox".
1) Install Google Map
2) find StitchMaps 2.52 or StitchMaps 2.53 I like ver StitchMaps 2.52
3) Run Google map program.
4) go to your location and the go to View historical imagery.
5) Zoom to the max of the Lake you like and center it with Google Map.
5) Then run StitchMaps 2.52. Setup StitchMaps 2.52 user config to your liking use zoom "10X10" max it will zoom Google to a lower level. and the save file with JPG and with *.map file
so you can open it up in many mapping programs.
