Good evening,

I have gone through the process of creating custom satellite backgrounds using SAS Planet and IMC. (Raster Images) I have spend the last couple of weeks logging data and importing into Reefmaster and creating custom vector overlays.

As there a way that I can add data points (waypoints) with information embedded into the map in such a way that when you hover over the point you have an option to view details of that specific point, without having to create waypoints as such.

Text Info, yes. It falls under the "INFO_BOX" field on the point.

You can't do images, like is being done on John Easton's video, with the currently released IMC.

Sorry but, "Text Info, yes. It falls under the "INFO_BOX" field on the point". means nothing to me....however I did manage to achieve my goal by following some posts from "Anglingcharts" on his web page.

I'm doing some beta tests with IMC. To see image in the waypoint information. We need Atlas version 14+. At the moment it stops at 13.

I'm sure Matt is going to provide us with some additions. The shapefile needs two additional fields: REFERENCE and WORK_DIR

REFERENCE - Pipe Delimited file references (e.g. - file1.png|file2.png) that get embedded with the feature. Relative locations are relative to the WORK_DIR folder. This feature is limited to Major Version 14+. References must be bmp, gif, jpg, jpeg, png, pbm, pdf, pgm, ppm, tif, tiff, txt, xbm, xml, or xpm format. Not all formats are supported on the chart plotter. Default Value is an empty string.

WORK_DIR - Folder Location of Reference Data. Relative Locations are based off the location of the IMC. Default is location of the shapefile.

But... we have to wait until Navio releases the next version of ICM
