I'm rather new to this technology and data and have a question in reference to performing tidal corrections during a period of storm surge.

I have downloaded the wxtide program and generated the predictions for my tide station. However during the period of my adjustments we experienced a storm surge event locally that is not demonstrated in the values estimated by wxtide. What is your advice for appending the original estimated tidal values with the "true" values so that the depths appear correctly and the data blended from pre-storm and the surge event sync correctly?

I think the only way that you are going to be able to do this is by creating the water offsets by hand for this time period. If you can get the new offset figures, then you can set the tide station to manual and enter the values by hand. Depending on the length of the track, you may only need a couple of data points as RM will interpolate offsets between given points.
