Is it possible to switch between several custom raster backgrounds while keeping the Lowrance vector chart displayed above them?

I use a Lowrance HDS PRO, ReefMaster 2.0 and Insight Map Creator 0.7.4.0.

I have eight georeferenced raster datasets covering the same reservoir, including historical aerial photographs and topographic maps from different years. I would like to store them on one SD card and select which raster appears as the background.

For example, I would select a 1950 aerial photograph, then switch to a 1955 topographic map, while keeping the same Lowrance chart, depth contours and labels visible above the selected background. Only one raster background would be displayed at a time.

Can this be done while leaving Lowrance selected as the chart source? Is there a way to select individual raster backgrounds through the Shaded Relief, Imagery or Categories menu?

If this is possible, how should I prepare the maps in ReefMaster or IMC? Which Raster Map Type, Atlas Description settings and SD card folder structure should I use?

A working example or step-by-step procedure would be very helpful.
