I've always wanted to map the lake where my family cottage is. About 8 years ago I borrowed a Lowarance LMS series fishfinder for a few weekends and hit the areas of most interest. I used Dr Depth at that time to create my first ever map.
I've moved on to ReeMaster now and have about 98% of the lake mapped in pretty high detail. I log files pretty much every time I go out and just keep adding to the map. I've also started mapping other lakes and plan on doing many more.
I export to google to use on my phone and tablet and I also export to use on my Elite-7 DSI in the boat and my Hook-5 while ice fishing.
I attached a section of the lake in 3D. It's a fairly small lake in south central Ontario
