What are Reemasters views on the new toys coming on strong this winter? More precisely I'm thinking of the new "low price" CHIRP (Sonar Hub) and 360 Scan (Spotlight Scan) that Navico is likely to release under the Lowrance-brand. Will these new toys have any effect on the sonarfiles we use?

What about the high end CHIRP? How would using Navicos BSM-2 module effect the sonardata used in Reefmaster?

I'll see if I can get my hands on a CHIRP-log from a BSM-2.

Here official new, will be use for Furuno, humminbird, Lowrance...(just wait new produce of each) so can good to look at. Bean is tell always the same at all frequency (better for mapping!) about 25°.
Reality indata sheet it is 26° at 100kHZ, 20° at 130Khz and 17° at 160kHz.
think very good for fish less for mapping. Power 300W for 300/600' use.

Sorry nitro, but I don't think it will be that simple. Coneangle will vary with different transeducers, and 200 kHz might not have the same angle on all Airmars 'ducers (I'm in fact pretty sure it is not, ref the big CHIRP-thread on the THT-forum). Depending on wich CHIRP-range (L,M,H) you use, 200 kHz might not be an option at all. (Although for most anglers it will, only the ones fishing extremely deep and using only L will be without 200 kHz)

The TM150 is not in this leaflet, but is/ will be the OEM 'ducer for both Garmin and Lowrance.

Have to know how unit will work with (and when be sell) if posible to use for fishing and to fix frequency when use for mapping. But not yet for France!!

But if the 275-W is priced like I expect it to, it woun't be on many boats... The B75 and 175 will be the volumesellers along with TM150.

Sonarhub is most likely baby-CHIRP, and is to be used with singleband ducers like the B75, not dualband ducers like 275. Single band units and "black box" sonars woun't work properly with a dual band ducer because the dualband ducers xid covers both dets of bandwith, and the single band unit can't handle this. For hig-end CHIRP, the BSM-2 will still be your only Navico option.

Sonarhub is not available anywhere at the moment. :) Bass Pro dosen't have the units yet either.
