The wishes of a few.

1. real-time create maps from lowrance ethernet data (devices StructureScan, GPS, laptop)
2. SideScan display real-time data, recording SideScan data file, playback of stored data.
3. Support two or more monitors.
4. Saving depth soundings in the finished map, filtration depth soundings.
5. Editor soundings in the form of a graph
6. Display log depth, not only in the form of colored pixels but in the form of color numbers.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions - plenty there!

1 and 2 are maybe's at the moment - we might look at ethernet for Lowrance and HB but if we do it will be after bottom classification and sidescan mosaics. I agree that it would be very nice, and maybe not a huge amount of work.
3 - you should be able to tear off a window using the tab and put that on another monitor - although I haven't tested it.

4-6 can you describe these in a bit more detail?

cheers,
Matt

I can confirm this is working, although you cannot maximize it - if trying anyway it jumps back in place as a docked tab.

As Matt Already knows, I like the profile track.

I do not understand what you mean with 4.jpg It is already possible.

4 - it is possible to export not only depth contours, but also the depth soundings on the basis of the tracks. For depths on the map need postprocessing tracks, filtering the distance between the points of the depth soundings. Detailed bathymetry is good but it is possible to find golden mean between the isobaths and depth soundings. Bathymetry can do many of the programs, but to generate soundings only professionally program for hydrography.

Ok, thanks.

Maybe introduce also a Reefmaster Ultimate Edition. It is more expensive but more features.

Some cool ideas and thanks for taking the time to create the images.

Number 5 is already on the list - a few people have asked for something similar, and it will also be useful for live mapping using just NMEA - to see a representation of the bottom. You can kind of do something similar now if you are using imported sonar files - open up the sonar view and click the "show track points" button, which will overlay the track-points on the bottom (or at least, at their calculated depths). They can then be dragged up or down to correct them.

Spot soundings would be nice as well - something we'll look at for sure, although no promises as to when that might happen.

cheers,
Matt

Using 2 Monitor works for example:

1.) Maximize the Window to fit both Monitors,.. it works.

2.) Grab a Window TAB from the Workplace and drop it anywhere on your desktop where you want...
You cant take as many Windows from the Workplace to anywhere on the desktop like you want,
works good for me.
Only when closing, sometimes you have to close a window twice to eliminate an empty frame at the end.

Also you can playback Tracks in the Sonar Viewer in every window you have, at the same time.
Dont know if this make sense, but its possible :-)
Only a little bit tricky with the Buttons to play/stop...

It was decided by my wishes in particular on the values of depth?
Very much I ask to realize the depth of reading data from downscan on ethernet module LSS
Its hydrographic complex is built on the LSS module and an external GPS receiver to work with drdepth.

Hi,
We are definitely going to implement spot-soundings and a depth profile for tracks, but not in the next release. I will add these to the submitted feature request thread.
The other things you mention, we would like to do - but we don't know yet how much work it would be, or when we could schedule it.

does not have a word about working with lowrance equipment over Ethernet
Spring to survey and not for the program's work on Ethernet with Lowrance StructureScaner((((
