Hey Matt, how about a project not auto generating upon opening? One of my workspaces covers a HUGE estuary. I have it broken down into 6 projects to cover the area. I have the map boundaries set to overlap by mere feet of each other. When each project is complete I write to a user map.

Sometimes I need to make adjustments to the individual projects but when I open the project the map starts to generate. I either have to wait until its done to make the changes and re generate or try while the map is running.

For this scenario it would be nice not to have the projects auto generate upon opening.

Anything you can do? or am I doing something wrong?

Yeah - the whole auto-generate thing (also on change of track-points) is going to be looked at, and either removed or made optional somewhere globally. I know people have a hard time with this!

IT will be a huge enhancement, and it will save us a lot of time... Thanks you Matt, you are doing a heck of great job ;)

Yes, Please remove the autogeneration of map.
Really anoying when you for example remove a file from project. Directly RM starts to regenerate the map.
It would be great to have a button "Generate" or something.......
