it's just a opinion, but i don't like that the different Views (Define Map, Countour, 3D) are not linked. I often move in the Countour View, find a pice of track i want to fix and then i have to move the Define View to this spot to correct the track.
For my opinion it would be nice if they were linked. Maybe not the 3D, but Define Map and Contour View.

Hi Pat,
I hear what you are saying, but it gets kind of chaotic if you have all the tracks on view, as well as the contour map. The define map view is where the map is created, the other two views show the product - either 2D or 3D.
I understand the issue about finding bad track-points for editing, and we are working on making that easier. Also basing the color scheme for each track off the same (project level) depth range so that bad points are easier to spot in the define map view (as you alluded to in your other post).

We will get around to it soon!

Just for clarity: it's ok to switch between Define and Contour View, i don't want to see the Tracks in the Define View, I just don't want wo move twice. ;)

If i'm moving aroung at the Countour View and find a spot i want to edit.
Then i have to switch to the Define Map View, move to the Spot i want to edit and select the track.

I just want to avoid the step of moving. It would be nice to just switch the view and beeing at the right spot to edit.

I get it now Pat - you want the position/zoom of the contour/define views to be in sync. Not a bad idea - I'll have a think about it. We might be able to add a button to link them, or just keep them linked..
