I have recently purchased a 3D printer and thought it might be cool to be able to print one of the maps from reefmaster. Would it be possible to include export of the 3D map to .stl format?

I also have a 3d printer and as soon as I can work out why my Hummingbird 398ci si works. So far the file export from hummingbirdPC saved it as a kml rather that a kmz and which I should have been able to open it in google-scetchup (free) then export it as a stl file .of course you need to give the 3d file depth and a flat base to print from. I use c4d. If any one has a kmz file i'm willing to work on it and return a printable stl. Though can not promise a result.
