You can export boundaries, but not in an easy (or nice) way. You would need to right click the boundary in the contour view, then add it to a user map, and export the whole user map. If you just want the boundary, then the map should contain only the boundary and nothing else. You could then choose export to a gpx, kml or csv file and save that somewhere. You can then reimport the boundary as a track and use the "add to project as boundary" function in the asset-library track-list. Not ideal, but if you need to do it, then it can be done. We may look at making this a bit easier.
