I`m going to go way out of what I would expect to be added and ask for a not-so-small feature. :)

In Norway the NVE, Norges Vassdrags- og Energiverk (Norwegian Waterways- and Energydepartment) has a lot of measuringposts placed all over Norway that monitors everything from waterlevel to watertemperature and waterflow etc in freshwater. Those data are available online through their website www.nve.no, more or less like tidestations in saltwater. Is there any chance of implementing support for these in RM so one could have automatic adjustment of the sonarlogs done while importing them? I see a lot of potential problems, but I also se a chance to cut down on the workload when mapping some of my larger projects.

Here is one example:
www2.nve.no/h/hd/plotreal/H/0002.00587.000/

I know I`m probably asking for something that can not be done, but if I don`t ask... ;)

It looks like you can get the data in CSV format, so with a small (!) amount of work you should be able to achieve what you are after.

You need to get the data into a format with date and "tide height" expressed in metres, of the form <date>,<tide_height>. I think the time format already in the csv would work (minus the ; at the end), but the tide height would need some work. Is this currently expressed as a % of the "full" level? If so, you need to somehow convert that into metres above a baseline, and also use a . decimal. Once you work out how to do that, you simply create a Tide Station in RM with the appropriate name, and import the CSV. It shouldn't be too hard to knock up an Excel spreadsheet with a few macros, that can convert this data for you given a height for the baseline. That would assume of course that % full meant % higher, and not % more volume (or something even stranger). That would be tricky.

Google translate seems to suggest that (at least for some of the stations) the value is in metres. A simple global replace of "," for "." and ";" for "," (in that order :) ) makes a file that imports fine into RM - see screen grab below.

It's actually quite straightforward from the data I have seen. The only thing you might want to be aware of is to check the timezone of the supplied data and import it accordingly. If the data is in local time, you should set the timezone of the tide station to the same, and check "Local".
