Hi all,

I'm a former Dr. Depth user, and there are a couple of features that would be useful for me when exporting image files for and printing large format maps.

It would be nice to have the background map used in Dr. Depth (e.g. an orthophoto) included in what is exported (not just the lake data). Also, it would be nice to have the export "extent" be defined by the "define map boundary", so that more "land" outside of the lake can be included in the image if desired.

Hi Craig,
We are planning on including this at some point, although it won't be in the next release. At the moment the best thing to do is export the map image without frame/scale, and combine that (KML) calibrated image with a background image in another application. Not perfect, I know..
