Mapping a river requires a few parallel runs to the shore - being able to generate survey lines at x distance from a shoreline or any path would be great

Currently doing it manually in GE
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I agree. IT would also be helpfull to export the survey lines as tack file that could be imported into the chartplotter to be used for Auto pilot or manual guidelines

When you generate survey lines they are just added to a map project as a new layer. This means that you can export them in a range of formats in the same way as any other layer - e.g. AT5, Shapefile etc.
