I'm doing a project over the next few weeks which may require a RM license. At the end of the project the sonar/GPS unit and laptop go to salvage (ie sold, normally to a student).
Can the RM 2 PC activation license be transferred to the new owner? I assume the activated license on the laptop would continue to operate regardless but the new owner might have issues with upgrades, support, moving the license from the laptop if it were to break down etc.

sorry i meant to post this question under support, not news but cant see how to move it.

Hi,
Yes there is no problem transferring a license, and it is easy to deactivate a license by clicking the Deactivate License button in the "About ReefMaster" window.
If you are transferring the license to another user you should ask them to contact as at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if they wish to be added to the mailing list to hear about major new releases.
