I have been trying to overlay 9 bathymetry images over my maps, but only 3 images are being displayed. The rest are shown as icons.

Images are TIFF format with a size of 100 - 350 Megs each.

Can you tell me a little more about how you are trying to use these images?
Are you importing them into ReefMaster as image overlays? If so, the image size is very large - these images really need to be tiled so that they can be displayed within RM without using too much memory. The easiest way to do this is to import them into Google Earth, calibrate them there as Ground Overlays, save the KML calibration file and then import to RM by using the KML file. RM will then tile the image on import and create and MBTiles file, which is a tiled format that can display very large images using a relatively small amount of memory.
If you are using the images in the IMC then my guess would be that this is also a memory issue. How much memory does your system have, and are you running 32 or 64 bit Windows?
Windows XP is getting a little long in the tooth now and we will stop supporting it soon (we have already removed it from our list of supported operating systems in our system requirements). The next major version of RM may not work at all with XP so I would consider upgrading if possible to at least Windows 7.

I uninstalled the program from an XP machine and reinstalled in a windows 7 64 bit. 2G RAM

Bought the sidescan moisaic, but Reefmaster crashes when I try to open. It does not even display an alert.

Yes - we do still support XP but we will stop testing on XP from the next major release - thanks for picking up the fact that we still list it on the "buy" page (we have removed it from the download page).
The error you describe is usually a result of a bad .NET framework install. Please download and install the .NET 4.5 framework from Microsoft, from this link. This should resolve that issue, but please let me know if that is not the case.

2GB is at the low end for memory. ReefMaster will be usable, but you will struggle with large mosaics which are very memory intensive. The IMC also uses a lot of memory, particularly when generating raster overlays.
