I'm having an issue with the depth labels not showing up in Google Earth using the preset map (2D format). Any thoughts as to why the labels don't show up? Thanks!

Are you using Google Earth PC (desktop)?
We don't have any control over how Google Earth displays labels - the format doesn't allow it. We simply assign depths to each contour and it is up to Google Earth to decide where to place the labels - often they can be rather sparse. Do you not see any labels at all?

I'm not seeing any labels at all and yes, it is the PC desktop version (Google Earth Pro).

Nothing....no labels show up

I have encountered this problem in Google Earth (PC and Android versions) & Google Earth Pro. I've not yet found a resolution - did anything come of the file evaluation?

I seem to have found a work-round/solution.

After checking out the recent GE posting "Export to AT5 highlight colour and background image" I noticed there were depth labels shown in GE.

So I went & checked my chart but still wasn't working.

I then saved the chart to my places, went back into GE and was surprised to see the depth labels. Great!

Its a shame but the GE depth labelling is somewhat hap-hazard in its label distribution but its a start.

Need to check the android version...

As mentioned earlier, the KML format doesn't offer any control over the way labels for objects are displayed. Unfortunately all we can do is attach the label and hope that GE shows them, but it does seem a little "random" sometimes. Hopefully GE will improve and maps should then display better.. Generally I find it OK on PC and Android, and your observation that labels started showing once you moved the map to "my places" is an interesting one.
