I have been playing with the software for about a month and slowly getting to grips with it.

After scanning our local lake I produced a contour map with Google Earth background that I'm pleased with;






If I view as a 3D image the map boundary is cropped to the side of the lake, producing gaps at the edge when the 3D image is rotated;




I have played around with 'Island' and 'Shore' settings for hours but can't expand the 3D boundary.

Is this possible?

Hey Mark, i just tried it with a small lake and i am getting the same result. its not anything you are doing, it looks like a software issue.

I must admit although I'm very impressed with the software, it's still a little complicated to work some stuff out. I feel like I've read through the instructions a dozen times and I still struggle to duplicate results. I never seem to remember how I did something the first time.
