Hi Matt.
We have discussed this error before and I have not found any solution for it.

When I create a map using the preset styles, everything seems to work fine except in the end when IMC erases the temporary files and fails to move BoundAT5 to output folder.

When I during the build process look in the temp folder eg. Users/myname/Appdata/temp/..............
All files are building in the folder UnboundAT5. After build is finished it merges the files and should move them to output folder, but does not.
The only files located in output folder is Large.AT5 and AT5.XML and an empty folder "Shadedrelief".

Only way i can produce a map is by exporting shapefiles and raster file and do in manually in IMC.

Is there a solution? Anybody else with the same problem?

Adding some screen captures of the process!

Picture 4 is new, never seen it before.
But it is obvious that something goes wrong.

When creating this map i used a new created folder located in "My Documents" as destination folder.

Hi Stainless,
That is curious - I have not seen the last error that you posted before. At what stage in the process is this error shown? So just to be clear, the files you don't get are the raster ones (i.e. the contents of ShadedRelief), and this never works, regardless of which map you export?

Hi,
Yes, the files missing are the shaded relief files. ie:_"3DTexture_1.at5" and so on........

The error message seems to generate as soon as merging of unboound at5 is completed.
But not every time.
I just now tried to export another map but it failed again, without the error message.
Shaded relief folder still empty thou!

It does not matter wich type of shaded relief map i try to export.

Now trying to create map using the export map option without preset.
Selected AT5 , selected "Export shaded relief" option, Atlas version 10 (HDS 7 Gen 1).

It is now processing, it takes a while.................almost there...........Finished!

Same problem! Shaded relief folder empty!

What is the destination folder? Direct to SD card, or somewhere on your disk? Assume that it has write permissions and plenty of space?

Can you try a really small/fast map? like a small subset of your map?

It seems like the raster process is either not finishing/creating the final files in the temp BoundAT5s folder, or that the copy at the end is failing somehow.
Essentially what happens is that the process is run in your temp directory, and the results of each process are written to the BoundAT5s folder there before being copied once the process has finished. Since the first vector part of the process works, this would seem to rule out issues with the temp directory..

Destination folder is: Desktop/diverse/sjökort/IMC out/raster
Desktop/diverse/sjökort/IMC out/vector

As it can output the vector files I assume it has write permissions.

I have been trying with different output locations but it does not work.
I have also been trying to follow whats happening, but it happends too fast
The only thing i can see in the end is merging.....merging....merging and then it is finished
All files in temp directory is erased except for the "Source" folder.
Shaded relief folder is created inside the output folder, but the folder is still empty.
It is processing about 7980 points or what it is, while it is working. so it takes a lot of time.

Will try with a smaller map and see if it will work, or at least process a lot faster.

Hi Matt

I´m sorry to say that i cant get this to work.
The shaded relief folder always turn out empty!

Can you tell me how to set up IMC correctly to get the shaded relief map (3D view).
The first one you see when using presets.
Then i can live with doing it manually

I have tried doing it manually but i´m missing something.
I can get it in 2D with all islands colored or i get it 3D with no islands colored!

See picture of none colored island

Finaly the problem is solved!!
Apparently you cannot have IMC executable located in a subfolder on desktop.
Moved IMC to a subfolder in my C:/Temp directory. and it works flawlessly.
