I done map for a friend with Lowrance and Tm150 in chrp mode (IG doesn't work with) and send him a picture (I don't sent any map done, thye have do do it)
He tell me that deph are wrong mas depth of lake is 14m and I go to 42m! very strange I have the file if need to test
Once more; IG does indeed woork with CHIRP. But if his logfiles show those kind of errors, IG would reject them because of the errors, not because of the CHIRP.
When using TM150M in Medium CHIRP for logging I use 26 degrees coneangle in RM. In relativ shallow water fixed frequenzy 155 will do fine as this is the frequenzy with the least wide coneangle (17). 105 kHz is a good frequenzy when looking for fish in shallow water, as it offers both good coverage and minimal sidelobes.
I combine my TM150M with a P66, so when I`m out purely to logg data I use the P66 with its 11 degree conangle at 200 kHz. But when it comes to looking for fish in the watercoloumn, P66 is no match for TM150M. So having both, or maybee a TM260 instead of my P66, gives you the best of both worlds.
