Hi,
Could I get bit more info on your system configuration?
Windows version (7/8) and 32/64 bit?

So this problem happens as soon as you launch, and presumably has just started happening?

The first thing to try is removing your config file. This is the file that holds things like recent workspaces, unit settings, custom palettes etc.

This file is hidden away and is not that easy to find, but it is in a directory underneath your user directory, somewhere like this:

C:\Users\Matthew\AppData\Local\ReefMaster_Software\ReefMaster.exe_Url_bokibddg4x2xjgty0sqn0xldniqe0h0e\1.8.27.0\user.config

That is an example from my development machine - you will have your own username in place of "Matthew" of course. Also note that the jumbled characters in the ReefMaster.exe... folder name may vary.

One thing to note is that the "AppData" directory is a hidden folder - you won't be able to see it in your file explorer unless you have set your system to show hidden files and folders.
Please follow these instructions for information on how to do that, if required:
Windows 8
Windows 7

When you have located the user.config file, don't delete it - just rename it (e.g. add an underscore the the .config extension, to make user.config_).

Restart RM and see if this resolves the issue. If it does, please forward your user.config file to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Not only will that help us determine the cause of the issue, we may also be able to repair it and return it to you so that you don't lose your user settings.

thanks,
Matt
