Hello!

We are 3 people who are recording tracks from our lake.

Our data looks not good. There are strips on the screen und all data is unclear.

Have anyone an idee why we have these problems?

I mean that could be a problem which is coming from the electrical drive. Could it be?

Hi Heiko,

Does the main interference show on the side of the boat where the electrical drive is located?

Also, could the the darker sections occur when the electrical drive is activated? If so I would try relocating the transducer if you can.

On the pictures "bild119.jpg" and "bild121.jpg" the main interference is on the right side where the electrical drive is mounted.

Picture "bild120.jpg" shows the interference everywhere...

I uploaded more pictures....

What does the others mean about this problem????

These look as though they were recorded at speed. The interference could easily be caused by air pockets at the transducer coming under the hull. The speckled effect is also indicative of high speed, or a badly positioned transducer in a flow with entrained air.

Some indication of vessel speed would be good, and some samples at 2-3 knots.

AnglingChart gives great info as to what you are seeing. These same problems have been spoke about on several post on a forum I belong too in reference to the black lines in SI view.

This link will better help you.

This is a post I did for some guys who were having problem with blocked SI as well and you can see the difference in the two.

---Also you can go into the side/down imaging thread under search and find more info...type in "black lines"

good luck
