Hi Dan,

A workspace is stored in a database file on disk with the name <workspace_name>.rmdb. This is contained within a folder with the name of the workspace, which is located in whatever location you chose (on disk) when creating the workspace.
It's not actually possible to change the name of a workspace from within ReefMaster, but if you really want to do it, you can just change the name of the database file, making sure that you retain the .rmdb extension. You would need to do this when the workspace is not open in ReefMaster. When restarting RM the renamed workspace won't be shown in the recent workspace list, so you will need to click the "browse" button and find it on disk (after which it will be populated into the recent workspace list for the next RM restart).

All in all, it's probably not worth doing unless you have a compelling reason.

I am not sure exactly what you mean. Do you want to create maps with your track-logs?
What kind of maps do you want to put on your chartplotter, and what is the source of the data?

Some lakes are there any logging, and for far
to go.
And I have access to some depth maps of the few lakes in the image version
I want to add in Reefmaster.
Have tried the demo and it seems to work.
But I need fullverionen to it?

The demo is working the same way than the full version, there is only a limited time for testing, nothing else.

If you want to use pictures as maps, you could georeference them and convert them in a way your plotter can handle. For Lowrance e.g. you can use a free tool to convert pics (kml's e.g.) that will work on your plotter.

If you can tell us your plotter model, it would be much easier to help you.

If you already have map images, then you don't need ReefMaster at all. You can convert the files in the IMC, which is in fact what you would have to do even if you did have ReefMaster, because RM doesn't (yet) do automated image export to the IMC.
If you want to create your own maps using your sonar logs, then you need the PRO edition.

For this unit, I would buy the pro version of Reefmaster, even if you have not a big amount of logfiles at the moment. The vector-maps you can create with Reefmaster and the free Insight Map Creator from Lowrance / Navico are amazing ;)

You also could digitize depth contours from you pictures and use these data in Reefmaster to create vector maps for your unit.

Ah - that shouldn't happen, if you are talking about the Demo Workspace? I'll look into it. I would strongly advise creating a new workspace to hold your own data!
