Ah - that shouldn't happen, if you are talking about the Demo Workspace? I'll look into it. I would strongly advise creating a new workspace to hold your own data!

Yes it was the Demo Workspace.

All in all I didn't lose much work and it's a good opportunity to practice setting things up properly.

Another question though.

I have a Navionics card in my Gen 2 HDS 7. If I store the AT5 file on that card it does not seem to show up when I change the maps to Lowrance. They work fine on a second card. Is there a way to make this work so I don't need to change cards?

Hi Dan,
Unfortunately I'm not sure that there is a better solution than Team Colibri's. Recording your own data on a commercial map card is generally a bad idea, because of the risk of damaging the data on the card. I think your only option is to swap cards.

AT5 files can be copied on to the internal memory but it appears they are not read from there. Is there any way around this?

I would love a second unit with two cards in it but the Min Kota and bigger under floor storage to get the esky off the deck are both higher priorities.

Dan.
