**** Help please ***
I am wanting to control the grouping of charts created in Reefmaster when loaded into a Simrad NSS EVO3.
I have about 20 or so smaller and individually mapped areas, each having their own separate RM chart. I also some larger areas which in places overlap the smaller individual areas.
On the Simrad I would like to be able to choose between displaying either all of the individual areas simultaneously, or just one of the larger project areas.
In the past I had used the “Export map in Preset style – AT5 map with colour gradient shaded relief” and saved the chart to a named folder for each smaller area. However, there does not appear to be any ability to change the default min/max resolutions of 0.5 and 32 when using this option so large areas take ages to process.
In the past this was working and under the Simrad’s Chart Source menu all my RM charts would be in a group called “Insight”. I could switch between my collective group of individual RM maps or my Navionics chart card by selecting either Insight or Navionics.
What I would like to do is use the Export Map without project based naming to create the charts for the smaller areas with min/max resolutions of 2 and 64. The larger areas would be processed using project based naming.
However, all attempts to do this result in the Simrad chart source list including all areas regardless of whether they are part of the group of individual charts or a larger project area.
Can anyone offer any ideas on how this is best achieved.

I believe I have found the solution. The answer lies in the naming of the Atlas Description when setting the map creation parameters.
Found the following in the RM 2.0 help file.

Atlas Description - Provides an internal name for the exported map that can be referenced in the target unit. Note that when using an atlas description, compatible units will show the atlas description as a map manufacturer, which makes it possible to switch between multiple maps on the same memory card simply by assigning each map a unique atlas description.
