Is there a way we can zoom in to see everything and not have wasted space onthe screen, or does it have to do with automatic depth settings in the bird, or in the software? im in an area that has max 30-50 feet, but the reg sonar shows 60+ feet, but i see more of a blank screen than the actual data and if i use the zoom + button, it changes nothing. the menu on the side changes nothing.. i just want to have the data full in place and wht white part below gone.. see pic

So you should just be able to zoom in with mouse wheel in any sonar view. Is this not working for you? I do notice that there seems to be a section of sidescan missing in the map view - this can happen if there are no valid depths recorded in that section, and it is possible that this has an effect on ability to zoom. Have you tried other sonar logs, or sections of this that have sidescan correctly displayed on the map?

I can zoom in. Was using a laptop and used my fingers on the pad… like using wheel on mouse, I was able to widen it. As for the side scan, the top is the border between the sons and side scan, ie li had increased the sonar screen portion size to see if I could zoom in.. and it stayed same size even when that portion of the window increased… it’s not an issue in either case..
