I've just got a Lowrance Eagle 7 Tripleshot unit and I'm testing Reefmaster 2 before I buy.
I can import my sl2 files fine, and the tracks show up with depth when I make a new project.
When I go to the edit track window and open the Sonar Viewer the sonar window has all the overlays (like coords, COG, Speed, Depth), and these do update correctly when I press play, but the rest of the Sonar Viewer is just blank.
Same goes for Sidescan, when I press the Show Sidescan button I just see the map with no track or sidescan imagery at all.

I have also tested in the standalone Sonar Viewer application, as well as in Reefmaster 2, and the issue is the same.

Also I have tested playing back the log files on the Lowrance unit itself and they look fine there.

Has anyone come across this before? Happy to share a log file too if that helps.

Hi Hugh,
Have you tried turning off hardware graphics acceleration? If not then please give that a try (global settings in ReefMaster, not possible in the standalone sonar viewer) and let me know the outcome. Also you could try the Lowrance Waypoint manager app (you can use a Sonar Viewer key) which does have software fallback rendering.
If the issue isn't to do with hardware graphics then could you please share one of your sonar log files that demonstrates this issue to This email address is being protected from spambots. Hi Matt,
Disabling hardware acceleration has worked. I'll check my gpu drivers etc and see if that makes any difference but the software is totally usable without.
Thanks for your help!
