Hello,

My Names Ryan, I am trying to create my own .at5 file from bathymetric data that I have collected, as I am a surveyor. I have created contours of the lake bed and converted them from a .DXF file to a .SHP file. I followed the step in this link reefmaster.com.au/reference/index.htm?context=420 but when I thought I was done, a .at5 file was not created. The difference between my steps and the instructions I followed is that my .SHP file did not come from Reef Master, I created it using QGIS.
Any help would be appreciated.

May I also add I need help desperately, my boss keeps telling me that other people can do it so I can do it, but so far no luck.
I hope that Matt will come to my prays, as I have seen him on here being very helpful.

How are you running the IMC? Directly or via ReefMaster? Are you providing your own Shapefiles directly to the IMC or are you importing into a ReefMaster map first and letting RM produce the Shapefiles for the IMC?
Shapefiles need to have some specific attributes set for the IMC to work. You can read about these in the documentation for the IMC.

I am running IMC directly, as I don't have reef master. So the shapefile im providing is directly from QGIS. Since I last posted I did move past my previous problem as I read that IMC needs all the files that are created when you export a SHP file. But after giving it the whole folder it now gives a error saying "Read file size does not meet expected file size".

Could this be because im not working out of reef master.
Also does reef master let me create my own contours from my own data, via CSV (Essentialy a pointcloud).

I have has sucess, I ended up buying reef master and it was very helpful, I know have my at5 file created from my own survey data.
