Hi
Today i started the demoversion of Reefmaster to try it out.
I have been using Dr Depth earlier, but now that it no longer will be updated i decided to try reefmaster instead.

I have exported all my Dr.Depth data files to CSV files and imported them to Reefmaster.
Adjusting a couple of settings and i have generated a projekt map.

Thats when my problem occurs.
All depth labels have negative values and are "rewersed".
As you can see in the picture the lowest negative value (-16) is just outside the shoreline and the highest negative value (-8) is where the lake is deepest.
What am i missing here?

Hi,

Difficult to say without seeing your CSV data - could you send it through to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ?
RM expects depths as positive numbers, specified in metres, and should work fine with DD CSV exports.
A -ve/-ve inversion wouldn't seem to explain your issue, as I would still expect smaller absolute values to be nearer the shore so it seems like there might be some sort of offset being applied.
What are your keel offset and tide settings for this track?

Keel offset used when logging was x= -20cm Y=270cm
But this info is not in CSV file
There is only positive values in the csv file

Keel offset in the track properties refers to the depth of transducer underneath the water, not the location offset (this is specified in the import profile, but cannot be applied to CSV files at the moment). Note also that the keel offset parameter is specified in metres.

From the look of the data in the file that you provided, it seems to me that depth values are all being reduced by a single, large amount and this is causing your depths to go negative and for larger original values to become smaller -ve values.

Try setting the keel offset value to zero for all of your tracks and see if that resolves the issue.
