Elite 5 HDI is a branch of the Indigo OS.

The shapes only for the vector files would be better ...

You use 2 quadrangles, and i believe, they lay over!!! the color fields: If i change "shaded" relief to "2D" in my HDS i can see this.

Delete the quadrangles (best) or change the LAYER-values!

I can work directly with the AT5 files but if you want the community to help take care of this faster, you would be better off posting the vector shapefiles. To change the opacity, just change the 20/100 values in the at5.xml to different values to see if you get results...255 should definitely show the polygons.

The features are serialized to post to a single draw over raster value but that value doesn't matter when working with the at5.xml. It is read entirely from the at5.xml unless you export as AT5 Version 13+.

According to our internal documentation, 1-254 are translated as 0 on the Elite HDI. Only the 255(full)/-1(border only) values will draw over raster.

Thanks!

But!
Indigo OS is used on Elite and Mark Series. At this time, Indigo does not support raster integration (from IMC documentation)
According to our internal documentation, 1-254 are translated as 0 on the Elite HDI. Only the 255(full)/-1(border only) values will draw over raster. (gpiverson)
The Elite 5 HDI only supports the values of -1, 0, and 255 (Border Only, Don't Draw Over Raster, Draw Over Raster). Any partially transparent value is translated as 255 (gpiverson)

Where is the truth?

If Indigo OS does not support raster, then why are you saying that works for Elite Indigo?
In my example I showed you that HDS everything works as expected, but on the HDI no polygons. I changed the value to -1 - same thing. Change to 255 makes no sense, because then it's easier to do without at5.xml!

1-254 translate to 0 on the Elite HDI.
All points/lines default to being drawn over raster.
All areas default to not being drawn over raster.
-1 will not render if your areas do not have a border.

These last 3 don't differ based on what unit is being used.

The only way to get areas to render over raster is to specify it in the at5.xml.

Thanks.
But: Indigo or NOS? Raster is not supported in Indigo

Elite HDI is neither but it is branched off from the Indigo OS. Elite HDI is much closer to Indigo OS than it is to NOS OS.

Shows all the NOS colors and raster and thus closer to the Indigo. Strange ...
Thanks a lot.

Elite HDI shouldn't work with anything outside the Indigo color scheme.

Unsupported colors get drawn as magenta.

Blue OS->Indigo OS->Violet OS
NOS OS (completely rewritten from Blue OS)

Blue OS = everything prior to about 2007 - Lowrance/Eagle.
Indigo OS = Elite Non-HDI
Violet OS = Elite HDI
NOS OS = HDS/NSS/NSE/NSO/Zeus/etc.

Violet and NOS represent simultaneous but not synonymous active development.
