Hey guys,

After importing a kmz file from Google Earth, Reefmaster does not overtake the rotation of the overlay. The position is correct though.

What I have done in detail:
1) Photo-overlay in Google earth
2) Stretch and rotate the overlay in GE to match it with real location
2) Export as kmz
3) Import in Reefmaster

If I import the same kmz file in GE on my mobile phone, the location and rotation is correct.
Attached an example kmz and the oics from GE and the result in Reefmaster.

I am clearly missing something here...any help is appreciated -)

Cheers
Sasch

We don't handle rotation of KML overlays, sorry. Maybe you can convert this to MBTiles in some other tool before importing that into RM?

Thanks Matt. I tried that, but it seems as if the converter (mygeodata.cloud) does not handle the rotation either. That means for me to go over to plan B:
1) Overlay, scale and rotate the map image in GE
2) Save a map/picture in GE
3) Overlay it again in GE
4) Export the kmz
5) Import in Reefmaster
Kind of weird but should work for my purposes...
