So long as you use it with either a mouse or the keyboard touch-pad then it should work fine. I have a surface pro that runs RM very well. I have to say that RM is not particularly well optimised for touch operation, although most of the major functions will work, so I can't recommend using it in "tablet mode". You may find it works well enough for you in that way though.
