Sometimes when I'm in the project window creating a project, a light red square outline appears in the Water Level Offset box when I type in the number for the offset. This is always a negative number for me, but the red square is there on any number entered. What does the red square around the number mean? How to I avoid getting it? Its as if the program doesn't want to accept the offset for some reason. Eventually, through random clicking or coming back to it later in the project, I am able to put in a number without the red square appearing, but sometimes the offset does not show up on the shaded relief map image, even after regenerating the map. Maybe there's a specific time in the project I need to enter the offset number?

Shouldn't be a specific time to enter, but the number is only used when the map is generated. Are you running under a locale that uses the comma as a decimal separator? A screen grab might be helpful - I haven't seen this behaviour before.

Hi, i also get this red Square on Water Level Offset now. Logging a big hydro Power damm, and it Changes water level all the time. I have logged now since May, and had no problems earlier. Since i started it has changed almost 4meters, and i import the logs and compensate with manual tide source. Generate the map with current water level offset (Always minus from when damm is full). And this has worked like a charm until today !?!? Tried to make a new Project and imported all logs to it, and i can change the value of water level offset without red Square, but it doesn´t compensate at all in the new Project. Original Project is stuck in last working water level offset. What can i do ??
Kind regards Anders

After a couple of months of not seeing the dreaded "red square", mine just popped up again on my newest project this afternoon. I still haven't found a cause, determined exactly when it pops up, or found a remedy. Just have to ditch the project and start over. I can't duplicate it, or eliminate it. Wierd.
