This can happen when nothing was produced during the export. What exactly are you exporting? A map project? If so, can you post a screen shot of your map?

Yes , im trying to export a map project.

I right click on the map and chose: export using preferred preferences.

I exported a google earth file, and picture file without problems... but not the AT5

Can you confirm that when you start the export process, a new icon is shown in the task bar for the Insight Map Creator application? This is run automatically by ReefMaster to process the files that RM generates into AT5 map files. You should see a new icon appear in the task bar during the export process, which you can click to bring the IMC to the foreground. Observing this process might give some clues as to what is going on. Also please confirm that you are able to run the IMC by hand using a set of Shapefiles, just to check that everything is working correctly there.

Well. I'm now getting the same error message. Mine has been working great since the upgrade, but now won't generate an AT5 map. The only thing that ends up in the file when the map is done is a shaded relief folder. What was the solution? Something wrong with IMC? I've never done anything directly with IMC since the first download. Not sure if I lost a stored file or what. Seems RM can't find a path to it though.

Just when I had things rolling . . . Have generated about 20 large maps using RM2.

After weeks of searching, reading topics,... i'm getting desperate.

It can't be that hard to export a map to a fishfinder.

Hi Tom,
Can you check which version of the IMC you are running?
When the export process starts, do you see a new icon in the task bar for the IMC? If so, try clicking on that to bring the IMC application to the front to see if you can get any extra information - e.g. see if the build process is happening, or if an error message is shown.

imc 0.7.4.0 ,
there's no icon showing up.
there's no build process.

at the bottom of the imc there's a WARNING: failed to load associated definition library :.Insightmapcreator.dat

I made a screen shot ( attached file ) where i've opened up the same directory seperatly.
So the moment I need to select a map when RM asks for it, to store it's files, the IMC icon is gone!!!
I can't select it.

The warning is because you don't have that dat file in the IMC's folder. The data file is used primarily to store icon information.

The IMC will still run but you won't have access to any icons in your final dataset.

I've also tried the 64x, same results.

I did find a .dat butt it also disappeared.

May I have to change some software settings on my computer.

Which directory should I put in the RM settings menu next to "insight map creator location" ?

There are some files in a map, butt they are not usefull!
