Hello,

Ive read about the new version 2.0 of Reefmaster and saw something about polygons. I wonder if it will be possible to delete points within a polygon over multiple tracks?

The reason im asking is because i have very accurate single/multibeam data and dont want 'bad' fishfinder data in it. Right now i just trow everything together but it would be nice if i could draw a polygon around the area with proper data and then delete all fishfinder points within that polygon before interpolating everything.

Or for example an area where a dredger is at work unil a certain date and then delete all points in that area before that date.

Thank you.

You can sort of accomplish this already via using a separate project where you include only your "perfect" data with a boundary around that area.. And in the other project with sonar data you use the same boundary to exclude that area (like an island with no depth info). Then you combine these projects into one user map and export from there.

I did this trick earlier when I wanted a larger interpolation in certain areas and smaller at others. There will probably be some small issues in contours along the edges though.
