Which of the models out there specifically on the emulator displays the files in the folder MAPS0 AT5?

I suggest you contact Lowrance tech support. There are masses of emulators on that website, and the time required to answer a question like that is prohibitive. Please try and do a little of your own "trial and error" research, and then let all of know - just as we have.

I can see no problem with making a Maps0 folder for any emulator. If it works - it works.

We need a "sticky" with the basic requirements in it.

The problem with folks not knowing about Maps0 comes up all the time. We should recommend a couple of emulators - maybe Greg can help here for the most compatible, and also post full instructions for viewing charts in Planner.

As well as this I'd recommend everyone sets their IMC to max 10 at the moment too. I dont think anything we do here actually needs 12 ? (Greg?)

I believe all publicly available emulators use the Maps0 folder but I can't say that with certainty. The HDS emulator will not be made public for a few very valid reasons that I won't go into here.

Unless you're creating maps for areas that don't use a Win-1252 codec, there is no need to move up to version 12. However, some stuff is still performed better with the version 12 that may eventually justify the move over compatibility.

Hi Trevor,

I have the emulator software from a beta testing I did in 2012 with Navico. I have a signed NDS. Unfortunately, that was a couple of laptops ago, and I thought I had saved all the files I needed to re-install later. I did not save the installer. I guess I was thinking I could just run NOSApp.exe from the directory. When I do, it tells me that I have a configuration issue and re-installing the app may correct it. Do you know if there is a path that needs to be configured for it to work? Can you help?
