Hi! is there any news on the possibility of using a GNSS antenna with RTK correction using a traditional ntrip data correction service? Is it still not possible to use the antenna in RTK mode with Reefmaster by entering the addresses and credentials of own reference service?

Thank you and best regards

Federico

The Reefmaster isn't a rover; it only receives NMEA sentences from navigation sensors.
All work with correction base stations via Ntrip or via radio communication with an RTK base station is performed directly in your RTK GNSS receiver via the built-in web interface or configuration software.
If you're using a bare RTK GNSS module, my condolences!

RM3 will include functionality to synchronise separately recorded GNSS data with sonar logs. This isn't too hard to implement and works surprisingly well. I suggest logging both separately and waiting for this function. Even better is that you won't need live connection when logging as you post-process the GNSS data which should give even better results (e.g. you can process forwards and backwards, use up-to data emphemera data etc). There is in my view simply no need for live RTK corrections *during* logging as the level of precision is much higher than you can achieve with the vessel.

We are logging separately and post processing with sonar logs in testing and it works very well. Simple logging of raw GNSS data is very cheap now, even dual band, and IMU data can be logged as well for future use in RM (although this likely won't make the first cut of RM3).
