The 3D looks much better than Garmin hopefully it functions well and is just a small (transducer) upgrade for those with gen 3 units.

Looks like similar technology to what Garmin is offering (except no forward scan). Big question will be, can we access the data from it?

i have lowrance setup in my boat so wont be buying garmin and have no interest in forward looking sonar. Sonars are like women , what looks good for one doesnt look good for another :)
