Been using Reefmaster for several months with no issues. I recently found this abrupt hump/rock formation but I can't get it to show on the map. I've attached a few pictures showing the map and the track points. It's best to use the orange waypoint as a reference between pictures. Is there anything I can do to accurately represent this on the map?

Hi,

What is your map smoothing? Also, how big is the map and is grid resolution auto or fixed?

Try making a small map around the area with smoothing set to 1.

If that doesn't make a difference, it's likely the high point is getting filtered somehow because there are deeper points very near to it (overlapping in the sonar footprint). Try setting the cone-angle for the track to 1. This will reduce the size of the footprint used during that filtering.

Does the sonar view confirm the depths of the track-points?

Matt, yes the sonar confirms the depth readings. The area of the hump is only about 10 yards in its maximum width. I took your suggestions and changed cone angle and smoothing to 1. It now shows more of point jutting out than an actual hump. I also tried limiting the map size and that improved the quality but just marginally. I'm beginning to think the limited size of the area is probably the primary culprit.
