fisching and look at fisch chirp is top, DI can help too, for looking at wreck or any structure DI and side are best and for mapping a traditionnal transducer is enougth!

Thank you for your input.. Maybe I will keep my old Sounder and upgrade my transducer if that is possible.

I know Lowrance wants you to set their units to 200 khz only for the Insight Genesis mapping application. CHIRP is for better identifying what is in the water column and removing noise rather than exact depth readings
