You'll need to describe 6 to me in a bit more detail - I am not quite following the requirement.

thanks,

A similar feature (Depth Selection) is shown in the video (watch from 14:58), but there, depths are generated across the entire depth range.

The screenshot shows an example of the entire functionality I described in point 6.
In the table, arbitrary ranges and spacing (Radius) are specified. The deeper the depth, the lower the density of depth marker points. Note that at depths where there are elevations within the contours, additional markers are placed above them with the minimum depth within the contour area.

The resulting depth markers can then be exported to text or SHP format for use in ENC mapping.

Merry Christmas,
Is it possible to add 3D view export? It's very usefull to get more information about bottom, but at this point - no option for this.

I'd like to add AI fish (arc) recognition with subsequent automatic marking of points with individual icons (start of forage fish) - (end of forage fish) --- this will mark the boundaries of fishballs and forage fish (large fish near the bottom), (large pelagic fish with a depth number from the bottom (10, 20, 30 m). All this is transferred to the depth map. Currently, I have to mark it all manually.

Good news - we have already implemented natural neighbour and it is coming to RM3. This is an interpolation type that preserves the depth of all data points naturally, whilst still giving results that are (usually) easy on the eye (unlike triangle facet, which is our current only option).
Hi Matt . When can I buy and test this?

Yes, this is included.

Pavel - re AI fish ID - maybe in a future release! We are adding some quite interesting overlay and sonar analysis options, including a "DIY" option which would make marking individual points of interest in a sonar log file very quick and easy. Re: launch data still tbd - I don't want to give a firm date yet but somewhere around the middle of the year.

I really hope Garmin will allow you to read their sonar data. I used to use Lowrance, but now I've completely switched to Garmin because of their PS70 transducer. But I really miss analyzing the data at home; it's impossible to notice everything while fishing. I'd like to mark fish, bottom irregularities, and so on for future fishing trips in a quiet environment at home.

I would just love to be able to plug my maps into a Garmin unit. I've switched to all Garmin sonar, including livescope, but still have a Lowrance HDS unit on the dash just to read my Reefmaster maps. I'd love to be able to put them into one of the Garmin units and ditch the Lowrance. Same with recording Garmin sonar data (2D down) and using that to add to my data (CSV).

Take good care of your Lowrance unit so it will last for many more years...

Until they switch NOS into NEON firmware, which not recognized AT5 format data.... It's this yr I heard.

I'd also like to see a feature for analyzing and calculating the direction of current movement across the terrain. We all know that fishing is all about understanding the terrain and how it's shaped by the current. Currents create eddies, resting pockets, zones of thin current, upwelling, and so on. We'd like to see all of this on a depth map. We specify the current direction, and the program simulates and displays the water flow using arrows, or even marks areas with specific current properties, highlighting them in translucent colors.

Add heading offset in the equipment profile.
This would make life much easier since you only need a patch test in your survey and then adjust the offset until the objects match in the post processing.
You pass a distinct object in one direction, pass it again in the opposite direction and adjust offset until they match.

Signal processing delays is also a factor but with position and heading at 10Hz and 2 m/s surveying speed this will not be a major factor.

It's impossible to obtain a complete current map (a vector field for the entire reservoir) based on flow velocity and depth.
A current map can be created using an ADCP profiler, for example, in parallel with a bathymetric survey of the reservoir.
