Could You add the AT5 as attachment, so that the user can load this into unit and select the font size suitable for specific unit (depending on screen size)?

You load up GME, and simply create your labels over the google / bing / whatever imagery, or import labels from DD or any other source. Remember to set the levels you want them to appear at in GME because these will be set into the AT5.(modify - extend to level 1 etc)

Now simply save the MP (call it "Jorgs labels" or whatever), then export the shapefile. It will create 3 x shapefiles, one will contain only points, and these will be your labels. Put this into IMC on its own, build, and there is your AT5 full of labels. Put this onto the SD card in any folder, I suggest make a folder called Labels, then it wont get overwritten. You can change the name of the AT5 with no problem, it wont stop it loading. HDS will find ALL AT5 cards in the tree and load them.

Ive just made a new shpdefault.dat because I got the major and minor contours mixed in the last one, then made a cock-up of removing it from the last post !

this is a misunderstanding. I have a own font scheme since a long time. But i think to the user, which not have. GME.

example with line labels in different font sizes).
