Creating a New New Map Project

A new project can be created in a number of different ways, including:

1. Use the Map Project button under the File/New menu:

or 2. Click the New button in the Map Projects header of the asset library:

or 3. Create a new project whilst adding tracks to use within the project by right-clicking one or more selected tracks and choosing Add Track to Map Project/New Project..:

Whichever method is used to create the new project, the New Project window is shown. A name can be entered for the project, and the project is created once the OK button is pressed. Once the project has been created, the Project Edit Window is opened, with tracks and boundaries as the selected view.
