Is that function no longer available in V2 or am I just to blind to find it?

You are correct - this is not present in RM2. If there is demand for it, it could be restored. An alternative is to use the sonar playback with boat position enabled, which will move the centre of the map view to match the current sonar position, which can be manipulated via the scroll bar or playback options.

Your workaround only works, when you have the full sidescan path displayed. If you have used the sidescan swath control bar to adjust the start and end position of the sidescan path, then the cutted path won't scroll with the boat position as it did with the "Centre view on swath leading edge funtion".

I really wonder that I am the only one who misses that function as I used it constantly to check my sidescan path before making the mosaic...I would really appreciate it if you could restore the function in a future RM release...
