Pikeeater Offline	I just updated my HDS and now I can*t import waypoints which I always have done. I use ver 3 oft the usr-file. I know that RM will not have usr 5. The new update is Ver 4.5. 56.1.142 Is there something you can help me with or do I have to contact Lowrance.

Matt Offline	There does seem to be an issue with USR files after the most recent firmware update for these units, and we are able to reproduce it here. We are working on a fix for this and should be able to release an update some time in the next week or so. Until then I can only recommend trying the GPX format.

The same issue with 7Ti upd. 2.5 ...

And I have issue with export-import usr3 from RM(waypoints exported from 9Ti): exported usr3 from 9Ti -> imported to RM -> exported from RM -> imported to RM. On the latest step RM cannot import usr3: "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream."

But there is one point with a Cyrillic font name in the set of waypoints . When I delete it then the import goes well.

We are fairly certain that this is an issue with some of the latest firmware updates - there is an error in the way waypoints are being exported in USRv3. This actually means that it is no longer possible to export in USRv3 and then reimport the same file, on the same unit - round-trip export/import is broken.
We will make a fix to read the affected files but hopefully Navico will release a fix themselves before too long.

Luke Offline	Any news on this? Will the 56.1.160 Update for the Gen3 solve the Problem? Will RM get the Update to make it possible to recover some data from the corrupted USRv3 files?
