I purchased the module for bottom hardness and sidescan mosaics. I can create a sidescan mosaic and view it on my computer. . I can export the mosaic and get a folder named "shaded relief" that contains 15 files with name like 3Dtextures_1.at5. When I load the file onto a chip and place it in my my Simard EVO3, I am unable to select any file with the mosaic when using the built in Simard Insight chart or the Navionics Platinum chart I usually use. I am able to use depth charts I created with RM on the EVO3. Is there a step I am skipping or performing wrong?

I havne't used the Simrad EVO3, but for all Lowrance units that I have used, you should be able to see either "Lowrance" or the map name that you used during export as options under the map selection. You need to select the map source first, and then ensure that Shaded Relief is set to show. You won't be able to show an exported map over the top of any map card, so maybe this is where the issue lies? Perhaps someone with Simrad experience will be able to chip in with more specific info. Are you able to see vector maps that have been exported from ReefMaster?

Yes, I can see the charts I made with RM. When I power the unit up, I see dialog boxes asking if I want to use the RM generated charts. The RM charts show up on the chip as single files. The side scan mosaics generate a folder with about 13 files, none of which can be opened.

I'm away from the Simard now, but I'll get more detail about the folder/files when I return home.

Thanks for the response.

Assuming that your unit is capable of showing raster charts, then they should be selected for display when you choose the RM chart (assuming also that you exported the raster at the same time and with the same project name as the vector components).
Raster file names won't be shown as part of the chart selection on the unit. My guess is that you need to play with the shaded relief setting on the unit before it will show up.
