This could be a problem with depths within the track, which prevent SRC from being applied correctly. Could you share this track please and send a link to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ?

You can use a sharing service such as WeTransfer and send the link to our email. It would be good to see the track in your original post, if possible. Also zip the track to reduce size.

Thanks - that worked.
The issue you have here is that you do not have good depths for the majority of your track. Depth is required when calculating slant range correction, and when the depth is wrong you will see the results in your OP.

Here is an image of your track - you can see that at some point during the track, the sonar has locked on to "clutter" at the start of the return and is using this for depth for the remainder of the track (~0.5m instead of 20-30m). In fact, your downscan and primary channels are not even recording the full depth because it looks like automatic depth-range is on, and is locked to the top of the water column. There is not much you can do with this track at the moment, but take care to ensure that depths are being logged correctly when you are recording data - they are very important!

Do you see the meaning of deepening manually? ?

Do you have any pictures of Lowrance HDS Gen 3? Would I like to know if the final effect is different? (Maybe my sonar settings are bad)?

Thx for pointing to this guide.

I've two more questions:
1-Which is the best way to map close to a submerging Clif? The area I want to map has shores with sand/stones that are connected to cliffs with lot of slopes, channels and rocks.

2 is good to make criss-cross recordings? If so can they be recorded on different daylogs and then post processed all together in RM?
